Great Place and kind staff

Just left my follow up appointment, after taking out 3 wisdom teeth 3 weeks ago. I waited until after the follow up to leave a review, as I believe the whole process is important from beginning to end. I have to say the entire process from start to finish was extremely smooth and easygoing! The staff is amazing, the office is beautiful and homey, and Dr. Patel, is an amazing oral surgeon! I am not one that has been to regular dentist appointments and my fear of dentists or anything to do with teeth were at an extreme before having to deal with my wisdom teeth issues. The process was quick, painless, and recovery was the same. Of course there comes some minor discomfort but nothing close to the nightmare I was expecting. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Patel @ Arlington Dental Implant and Oral Surgery. You guys are amazing.

She is amazing. Informative. Reassuring and Definitely quick. The staff even called me the next day to check on me to make sure I was feeling ok. For someone who was petrified by visiting the dentist let alone an oral surgeon…thumbs up across the board. I really enjoy my experience here.

Dr. Patel is a great oral surgeon. Appreciate the way she was careful and considerate when removing my wisdom teeth. It was quickly done before I knew it and the healing was quick as well. Definitely recommend!

Take your business elsewhere. The doctor has a horrible attitude, is unprofessional, and blames others for her mistakes. There are plenty of dental offices in the area that could do the work with better customer service. I feel bad for the employees.

I called this office before even looking at these awful reviews. The receptionist had no idea what I was asking and said Dr. Patel didn’t perform oral surgery! I’m so confused. So I googled her to make sure I contacted the correct office and I did. Seeing these reviews I’m definitely not calling back. This office seems extremely unprofessional from the gecko!

Had a great experience at this place. I got 2 wisdoms removed at the same time and I thought it would hurt but not at all, not even after the surgery. Doctor Patel did a great job along with her staff

I brought my 4-year-old in for a oral mucous removal on his bottom lip, and I'm profoundly disappointed with the lack of compassion and professionalism from the main doctor (Dr. Patel). Despite assurances of sedation, my child experienced extreme distress during the whole procedure, with the doctor proceeding without warning him or comforting him.The post-procedure discussion lacked accountability, and an accusatory tone which heightened my disappointment. I do however appreciate the kindness of the other assistants, and front desk staff who were patient and compassionate with him but the overall experience was still very traumatic. I cant even imagine what it’s like working for someone who lacks so much accountability. I hope that this review does not in any way affect the rules of parents being present for their minor children’s procedures because I want to assure the reader that in no way was my presence affecting my child’s reactions to the treatment. I can only imagine what would have happened if I was not there. If i had known the doctor's experience with young children was limited I would have searched elsewhere (it is extremely difficult finding pediatric oral surgeons) I really wish they would have turned me away instead of taking on what they could not handle. The situation left my child with a blood-stained face, clothes, and strings from the stitches hanging out of his mouth requiring us to exit through the back door, possibly due to them not wanting the patients in the waiting room to see the intensity. I was not given any after care treatment until I returned after calming him and myself down an hour later. This experience was beyond unsettling, it was rushed and very uncomfortable. I really am not trying to undermine the difficulty of the profession as i know it is a stressful and difficult task especially dealing with young children, I just wish more care and thought went into his procedure, children need adequate distractions (not just youtube) they need to be spoken to kindly, warned when things are happening to them (Cant speak for all children but mine would have definitely benefited from a little more patience and understanding) it took everything in me not to burst into tears at the sight of everything happening. Dr. Patel should definitely think twice before accepting another young child as a patient without more training. I certainly wouldn't recommend this doctor for those with young children. I wouldn’t send a pet to her let along a human child.

This practice has hidden fees. They demand a pre-payment for a dental service. When I canceled my extraction appointment 10 days before the scheduled date, they refused to refund my pre-payment and instead sent me a new bill with additional charges. Yes, they gave me their justifications for the new bill (which they had never mentioned before), saying I could be charged even more if I didn't pay the billed fees ...

My first visit was so amazing excellent professionalism and great customer service, hospitality was out of this world, I am going to recommend this dental office to family and friends in the future,,I am so grateful to have my dental work done there.

I had my wisdom teeth removed here. Even with appointment times I still had long waits to be seen. Several days after my surgery I was experienced severe pain and I called several times because I was concerned about dry socket and I left messages but no one ever returned my call. 9 months after surgery I got a voice mail threatening legal action if I didn’t send them my insurance information (which they had on file prior to my surgery). Apparently, whoever was in charge of billing hadn’t done their job right. I tracked down my old policy from the time of the surgery and heard nothing until nearly 6 months later when they said I owed them more money which I already paid a large sum prior to surgery. Very unprofessional, and the reason I am giving 3 stars instead of 2 is because Dr. Patel was so great.
