UPDATE: The office called me and helped resolve the issue -- I appreciate their attention and willingness to assist me. Regardless, as a patient, please continue to be aware of your claims and what your office charges you. While the care I received here was exceptional, I want to flag for any new or existing patient to take a closer look at your treatment plans and subsequent dental claims. The office overcharged me and dragged their feet in repaying me until I got the insurance company involved. In addition, do make note to ask them about a "D999" code on your treatment plan. They told me everything was covered but yet they never mentioned this code which was a whopping 75 bucks out of pocket. I was forced to pay to make the appointment before even seeing my treatment plan too. Please do your due diligence if you choose them to be your provider.

I went to get my wisdom teeth removed with Dr. Patel and the team here. It was an amazing experience with no hiccups at all. I would definitely recommend this place should your wisdom teeth need to be removed! Shout out to Gaby and Vania for helping me when I was incapacitated after the surgery.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Patel, Vania, and Gaby! Getting a tooth removed is never fun, but they made the process smooth, quick, and as comfortable as possible. Dr. Patel was professional and gentle, explaining everything clearly, and Vania and Gaby were incredibly kind and supportive throughout the procedure. Their teamwork and care made all the difference. I called this clinic to schedule an appointment for a tooth extraction. Over the phone, the staff assured me that there would be no out-of-pocket costs since my insurance would cover everything. However, upon arrival, I was unexpectedly asked to pay around $480 out-of-pocket for the extraction, along with a $50 consultation fee. Since this was not what I was told, I refused to proceed and instead went to another dental clinic in Fairfax, where my insurance fully covered the procedure with no out-of-pocket expenses. The lack of transparency and professionalism from this clinic’s staff was disappointing. Their communication is misleading, and they seem more focused on overcharging patients than providing honest care. I would not recommend this clinic.

Dr. Dipa Patel is an exceptional surgeon who has brought me peace of mind twice. I left her office today with a big smile on my face. She successfully performed surgery on my daughter's tumor, taking great care to minimize harm. Dr. Patel thoroughly explained the procedure, step by step, making it easy to grasp. Her professionalism, as well as that of her assistants, is impressive. The office is always clean, and the staff is consistently courteous and kind. I wholeheartedly recommend the office 100%.

Gm to the staff of waterfront of Arlington. I appreciate their amazing hospitality in the office for making me feel very comfortable, being as though this is was my first time! I was super nervous about getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Patel and her staff listened to my concerns and my surgery was successful. You can feel her confidence and passion for what she does.

I usually don't write negative reviews, but this one I felt like an obligation to alert other patients, who are planning to make an appointment with her office. Dr. Patel and staff completely clueless and unprofessional! I was referred to her because in 2021 I had a jaw surgery, and the surgeon who did the surgery had retired. When I made the appointment, I explained to the receptionist why I am coming, it is due to the surgery my lower jaw numbness is getting worse and I am told Dr. Patel is part of the team of original Surgeon's team. The receptionist never told me that, Dr. Patel is not the part of that team. Anyways on the appointment day two hours before the appointment i received a call from Dr. Patel's office and once again I explained them why I am coming to see her. Still I was told nothing weither Dr. Patel will be able to give me recommendation on my issues and she does not belong to the particular team, so please check with your referring provider. I drove 53 miles to get there paid them $50.00 co-pay to see the most ignorant, impolite, unproffecinal and racist doctor ever!! First she couldn't comprehend what I was trying to explain, Secondly she said I have nothing to do with the Surgeon's team (I don't know why I wasn't told when I made the appointment, and explained them multiple times the reason of my visit) Without any facts her conclusion was I have numbness, because there might be a tumor in my jaw or MS or some other neurological disorder! She left the room without saying a word. I have never experienced such unprofessional doctor. She should be ashamed of herself. I should've known when she walked in the room in ragged sweat suit! Horrible Horrible experience! I urge anyone who decides to go to Dr. Deepa Patel to check all the facts before throwing your money away! Dr. Patel you must have a short term memory loss. I had a 2 pm today on 2/3/25 appointment with you and I was called in at 2:23 pm. If you can't remember a patient you saw few hours ago, it's bad! Please kindly learn how to be professional and take responsibility of your profession. By no means I am bullying you! Just stating the facts. You never tell a patient without any facts, reports or scans, that you might have a tumor or mass growing that's why your jaw feels numb. You don't know how it feels to hear that 'you might have a tumor or mass' Thx

Trying to make an appointment and someone answer the phone and says nothing. Then all of a sudden a text comes to my phone saying respond here or we will call back. Strange to say the least.

I had the best wisdom tooth surgery experience here! Every single staff member at the office was so kind and patient, answered my many questions, and offered great care. I had a remarkably smooth recovery with almost no pain or swelling at all (I was up and seeing friends less than a full 24 hours later). After dreading getting my wisdom teeth out and putting it off, this truly could not have been a better experience. Would highly recommend Dr. Patel and her team! Also, for what it’s worth re the other reviews noting issues with insurance: this was an expensive surgery, but they quoted me the same amount out of pocket as another office, and took the time to sit down with me and walk through my options. They also did not pressure me to choose them or book an appointment quickly, which has happened to me at other offices.

This place is the absolute BEST for oral surgery. Dr. Patel is kind and pays lots of attention to detail. She explained the whole procedure to me step by step and reassured me the whole way. I had a fabulous recovery and Dr. Patel made sure I had no complications from my wisdom teeth extraction. If I could do it all over again, I’d happily choose Dr. Patel to do my procedure again. Her staff were so kind and attentive and made sure I had everything I needed for a proper recovery. Dr. Patel even called me a few days after my procedure to make sure I was okay which made me feel very appreciated as a patient.

Had all four of my wisdom teeth removed and it was such a speedy recovery! I have chatted with others who had the same surgery (at a different practice) and had a hard recovery. But I was feeling back to normal in just 8 days! So fast! I also really appreciated how proactive Dr. Patel is with making sure you know the cost before saying yes. She breaks down all the cost for you and what your insurance will cover at your initial appointment. I love that. She makes sure everyone is prepared really well. All in all 5 star experience!
