Went here a few years ago, Dr Patel is extremely gifted and I had zero complications afterwards. Other Dentists saw that I had a Tricare and basically abused and exploited me and my insurance. That being said, the billing practices here are not the best. After paying $700 more than I expected out of pocket, they sent a bill of mine to collections for $30 they didn't initially quote me for or show my insurance. and some scumbag called and threaten me. Unfortunately a bad review gets more attention. She's a solid surgeon. I didn't like the lack of transparency in terms of billing, when I called the office instead of just dismissing this $30 dollars from collections or letting me pay for which they already got nearly a $2000 for they sent it out to collections.

I highly recommend Dr. Patel and her offices. I recently completed orthognathic surgery and all the associated follow-ups, and am thrilled with my results. I initially visited Dr. Patel in September 2020 to inquire about orthognathic surgery, and after a thorough visit explaining the procedure, process, etc., she referenced me to an amazing orthodontist (Dr. Markova) in Rosslyn. Following the alignment of my teeth, my surgery was scheduled for March 2021 at MedStar Washington. Dr. Patel and her team were very communicative throughout the process and scheduling. After surgery, I had biweekly follow-up appointments to check on my progress, which were easily scheduled and very quick appointments. I just had my final appointment in July 2021 now that my braces are off, and am very happy with my decision to have the surgery. Huge thanks to Dr. Patel and her office team!

Showed up for a 1:30 appointment and still waiting as of 2:30. Current rating: 1 star. I suppose it can only get better from here. After meeting with the doc we’re up to 5 stars. She explained the procedures (wisdom teeth extraction) to my kids; really great explanation which put them at ease. Explanation of insurance was fine. No issues.

It truly amazes me that this is a legitimate business that is licensed to cut someone's mouth open and perform surgery. Where do I even begin....When I came in for my surgery, Dr. Dipa was yelling at her employees because they forgot to order some part for my ROUTINE wisdom tooth removal making me even more anxious for the surgery. After the surgery was completed successfully (To my surprise), I was sent home. As soon as I got home, I was in excruciating pain. I went to get my prescription, and the office FORGOT TO GIVE ME MY PRESCRIPTION. My GF had to uber back to the office and pick up the prescription they forgot to give as I was screaming in pain at home..... When she went to CVS, to get the prescription, they were confused why the doctor didn't just write an electronic slip..... Of course, Dr. Dipa's office had no idea to do that. Apart from all this, there were many other things that happened here that I won't go into which were incredibly unbearable. When I brought up this experience I had to her office, she said "she would take care of it". Dr. Dipa blames her staff for the incredibly chaotic office when in reality, it is her atrocious leadership and deprived training she provides that leads to this environment. An oral surgery is not a fun experience. If you want to worsen that experience tenfold, be sure to come here! PS: After paying what they quoted me prior to the surgery, they sent me a bill for an extra 25%. Many other reviews here giving examples of the office charging extra after the procedure. Beware.

Best oral surgeon hands down. I will forever be greatful to Dr. Patel and her amazing team. I walked in a Monday afternoon with terrible wisdom tooth pain caused by an unprofessional dentist who had messed with it earlier that day and was unable to remove it. I was in so much pain. But thank god that doctor Patel was willing to see me that same day. The staff was very nice and friendly. The procedure went incredibly great. They gave me relaxing gas and then they put me to sleep. The next thing I knew the procedure was done. I didn’t feel a thing it was painless. My only regret is I wish I would have gone to dr. Patel in the first place to get all my wisdom teeth removed. I would I have safe my self so much trouble and a whole lot of pain. I will definitely be referring my family and friends to her dental office. She is a true professional who really cares for her patients. God bless dr. Patel and her incredible team.

I've had two extractions done by Dr Patel about a year apart from each other. Both times she was extremely professional and very kind. She answered all of my questions and took her time with each tooth. I hope I don't need any more extractions, but if I do I will obviously be going back. Also, the ladies at the front desk are very sweet and were happy to see me. They walked me through the charges and paperwork and made it easy to book any follow up appointments.

Completely seamless scheduling, payment, recovery, and visits for wisdom teeth removal. Cannot recommend the Exparel injections for post-op pain highly enough. Opioid-free recovery.

We were told by our child's dentist that she needed 4 extractions. After attempting to remove them at her regular dentist's office, without success due to my daughter's anxiety, we were referred to Arlington Dental. After our initial visit there we decided that full anesthesia in a hospital setting would be a good idea and made the down payment and appointment. After a few days we were informed that our insurance (Tricare) would not cover a procedure like that so we decided on moderate sedation in office would be the next best option. We were told that this would be covered by Tricare and that we should even recieve a partial refund of our deposit. We proceeded with our appointment and it went great! We were in and out of there in about hour. They crew and Doctor were professional and made my daughter feel at ease. A few months later we were surprised to get a bill for about $230. I noticed on the bill I had been charged for IV sedation. When I called for an explanation I was told that it must have been computer coding error and that I am still responsible for the bill. The billing lady acknowledged that she was aware that my daughter never received IV sedation. So I asked if that can be removed from the bill and she said she doesn't know why there was a computer error and that we are still responsible for it. Obviously, she didnt feel like doing her job and remedying the mistake. At this point in time no solution has been offered. If this changes I will update my review.

My Bill was paid through Tricare. Upon calling for mutiple time. They did not Fix issue. Instead of fixing issue. They sent my bill to collection office which is very annyoing. Very bad customer support. They trying to double dip money.
